As an emcee you need to control your down time. What I mean by down time is; you have to have things planned. There can’t really be any lack of flow in your seminar. If you’re on a break, that’s different. That means no one is on stage, no one is holding a microphone and no one is saying anything. You’re on a break period.
Now, when you come back from break you have an obligation and responsibility to get the people back in the room and back in their seats, and to keep the energy going or to build more energy, maybe by having them do some crazy exercise or maybe having them give their partner a massage. Just different things to keep the audience in a good mood and to keep their energy levels up.
