Part of the job of the emcee, was introducing people onto the stage.  How is that done?  Well, introducing a person is not just a matter of saying, well let me give you an example of a bad introduction.  I had a bad introduction at a very well known seminar.

There was this person who was introducing me, I’ve never met this person before this is the first time we’d actually met and they had asked me, well we need an intro what’s your intro.  So I had written up this little bit of an intro and gave it to them for the heck of it.  I usually don’t give people an intro, it sounds more natural if they say a little bit about me themselves, so it sounds more natural when I go to speak.

 Speakers are going to make you money, so give them your best
