Affiliate strategy number seven is do not include sales in affiliate commissions. Be prepared for the affiliates that won’t promote your event unless they get part of the back end sells and registration. The answer is always no.

That type of arrangement would only apply if they were a speaker. If the speaker could refer a number of people to the event then they get an extra percentage on the people they referred. This applies to speakers and not ordinary affiliates. Speakers are in a different category.

Remember this is your seminar and you’re in control. You have the responsibility so don’t do anything you’re not comfortable with. If you don’t want to give them an answer immediately, then put them off and think about it.

If you need to, just tell them no or send someone else to tell them.
